The Lagos state police command have arrested an elderly man and his daughter over the death of his 10-year-old grandson, Abdullah Adisa, in Ikorodu area of the state. According to the police, the mother of the deceased and his father have been divorced following allegations of infidelity. The deceased boy and his mother moved in with her father in Ikorodu. The police said few weeks ago, the young boy fell ill and died in the process. Shortly after his death, his grandfather without informing the father of the boy, asked that he be buried. Trouble started when the father of the deceased demanded to see his son. Simon Lalong Re-elected As APC Wins Plateau (Full Results) Governor Simon Lalong, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party, has been reelected governor of Plateau state. Iblog Bayelsa News reports that the ruling party polled 583,255 votes while PDP had 538,326 votes in Plateau in the March 9 election. Similarly, in the supplementary poll conducted across nine LGAs in Plateau, Lalong defeated Jeremiah Useni of the PDP with over 3,000 votes in the state. BBNaija former Double Wahala housemate Alex expressed anger that she had been trying to resolve her rift with fellow housemate, Cee-c but all efforts proved abortive. She disclosed she had confronted Cee-c after the show at her hotel room but Cee-c’s sister slammed the door against her. Alex also lamented about how Cee-c snubbed her severally in public places citing Nina’s birthday party as an example of such. However, Cee-C in her reaction revealed that she had no beef with Alex, adding that she was just surprised to hear that Alex and Tobi had sex in the hotel room after the show after they ‘pretended’ to be best friends.
