The Lagos state police command have arrested an elderly man and his daughter over the death of his 10-year-old grandson, Abdullah Adisa, in Ikorodu area of the state. According to the police, the mother of the deceased and his father have been divorced following allegations of infidelity. The deceased boy and his mother moved in with her father in Ikorodu. The police said few weeks ago, the young boy fell ill and died in the process. Shortly after his death, his grandfather without informing the father of the boy, asked that he be buried. Trouble started when the father of the deceased demanded to see his son.
